Databases updated 7/30/2001
You've reached the World Stinson Database (WSD) page. The purpose of the WSD is to facilitate networking among Stinson owners. The database provides ownership and other information on about 3,410 Stinson's registered in 15 countries; Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Iceland, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom and the United States.
The WSD is a helpful tool for Stinson owners, pilots and enthusiasts. You can use it to find Stinson owners in your area so you can share information, find those who have made the engine swap you're contemplating, or just scan the data to learn about the wide range of models and where they're popular. Please help me to keep the database current by e-mailing changes in ownership, address, telephone, or e-mail address to me. If you've recently purchased or sold a Stinson, be sure to let me know so I can update the database.
Special thanks to Larry Westin for hosting the WSD on his outstanding Stinson web site for first few years. Now that I have my own virtual server, I am able to offer the WSD right here at Hangar 9 Aeroworks.
I have one request if you use this information. Please make a donation to the International Stinson Club Franklin Parts fund. A $25 donation is suggested, but any amount will help. Please make your check out to: International Stinson Club, clearly marked for the "Franklin Parts Fund" and mail to:
For more information about the Franklin Parts Fund please contact ISC Webmaster Dennis Dow at stinson@aeromar.com. Franklin replacement parts are essential to keep the Stinson 108's flying. Your donation is very much appreciated!
